GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS to declare the action of Respondent No.4 in harassing and summoning me to the Police Station without there being any criminal case 2 registered against me as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and against violation of dictum laid down by the Honble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Case reported in 2014(2) SCC 1.” 2. Heard Sri M.Rajeev Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent No.4 is calling the petitioner to the police station and insisting him to settle the disputes with one Shaik Dasthagir, which is a financial dispute. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home seeks time to get instructions in this matter. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the respondent No.4 is directed not to call the petitioner to the police station in the absence of any crime registered against the petitioner. In the event of any crime registered against the petitioner, the respondent No.4 is directed to follow due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
