Learned advocate for the petitioner is present. Heard learned advocate for the petitioner. Although service of notice is effected upon the respondents but none appears in spite of service of notice thus this application is taken up for consideration. The writ petitioner in the instant case is aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent no. 3 to 7 in taking necessary steps against the respondent no. 13. The learned advocate for the petitioner draws attention to the representation made to the respondent no. 7 which is not yet considered and no steps taken on the basis of such representation. In the instant case this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping this mater pending. Thus this writ application is disposed of with 2 a direction upon respondent no. 7, The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Murshidabad Range, Kalyani, District- Nadia to consider and dispose the representation made by the elder brother of the petitioner, Sajib Mondal appearing in page 69 of the writ petition upon giving the writ petitioner or his learned advocate an opportunity of being heard and by a reasoned order. Such decision shall be taken up at an early date and preferably within a period of five weeks from the date of communication of the order. This writ application stands disposed of. It is, however, made clear that the writ petitioners will also be entitled to pray for necessary protection before the authority concerned. All parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
