In the tender process, the rates quoted by the petitioner was accepted and a negotiation was also conducted on the basis of Ext.P3 dated 21.12.2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that, even now the work has not been awarded. Hence the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 2. A counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents, wherein it is averred that the matter is now pending before the Municipal Council and they have to take a decision on the basis of the recommendations of the Standing Committee. The said WP(C) No.4658 of 2025 4 2025:KER:19616 process is in progress. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that, the same shall be completed within a period of one month. In such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, directing respondents 1 and 2 to take a decision with regard to the awarding of work, within a period of one month from today.
