Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that police are not filing the report before the Court though it appears they have concluded the investigation saying that the matter is a civil in nature. Learned counsel would further submit that though the petitioner filed a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate Court that was returned as not maintainable, since the police have not concluded the investigation and filed a report. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that Court may

4. pass appropriate orders. Considering the submissions, this writ petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law, if it is not filed already as expeditiously as possible preferably within a
