2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 183 of 2024 arising out of Khunti P.S. Case No. 126 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 302, 323 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of Arms Act, pending in the court of learned D.A.S.J-II, Khunti.
3. On 06.09.2023, father of the Informant was assaulted by the named accused Rai Hassa and three unknown persons, due to which, he succumbed to his injuries. Named accused persons had also assaulted the Informant.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR, not he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that co-accused Mangra Pahan has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this court vide B.A. No. 11909 of 2023.

Mr. Achinto Sen, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that firearm which was used in the commission of the murder of the deceased was recovered on the confession of co-accused Kishan Mundu. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused Kishan Mundu.
6. Considering the fact that apart from confession of co-accused, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like

amount each, to the satisfaction of learned D.A.S.J-II, Khunti in connection with S.T. No. 183 of 2024 arising out of Khunti P.S. Case No. 126 of 2023.
