When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Services-II has brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner filed W.P.No.1030 of 2020 seeking similar relief and the same was disposed of by this Court on 29.01.2020, directing the 2nd respondent therein to accept the application of the petitioner and appoint him in the post of Thoti or Watchman/Sweeper, if he is otherwise eligible. As the order dated 29.01.2020 passed in W.P.No.1030 of 2020 was not complied with, the petitioner preferred a Contempt Case vide C.C.No.6337 of 2023. 4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition (AT) is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
