This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not acting on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2024 for direction to 3rd respondent to complete the investigation, filing of charge sheet including arrest of accused in crime No. 46 of 2023 dated 12.04.2023 under - Sections 427, 447, 323, 509 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) is illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of natural justice and violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2 and 3 respondents to complete the investigation, filing of charge sheet including arrest of accused in Crime No. 46 of 2023 dated 12.04.2023 under - Sections 427, 447, 323, 509 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) forthwith.”
2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that investigation in Crime No. 46 of 2023 on the file of Penukonda Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District is going on. 3. Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4.
Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents - Police to conclude the investigation in Crime No. 46 of 2023 on the file of Penukonda Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, if not concluded, and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
