GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not acting on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024 for direction 2 to respondents 3 and 4 to complete the investigation, filing of charge sheet including arrest of accused in crime No.186 of 2023 dated 20.09.2023 under - Sections 447, 427, 354, 323, 509 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 3(1)(g)(r)(s)(w) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 is illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of natural justice and violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2 to 4 respondents to complete the investigation, filing of charge sheet including arrest of accused in crime. No. 186 of 2023 dated 20.09.2023 Under - Sections 447, 427, 354, 323, 509 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 3(1)(g)(r)(s)(w) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 forthwith.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that investigation in Crime No.186 of 2023 on the file of Penukonda Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, is going on. 3. Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the Police to complete the investigation and file a report. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents - Police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.186 of 2023 on the file of Penukonda Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
