GP FOR HOME The Court made the followingORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “….to issue a writ, order or orders one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the actions of the 5th respondents calling the petitioner to the police station without any reason and settle the financial matter with the 6th respondent as illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 21 of the constitution of india and misuse of powers vested with the office of the 5th respondent and consequently direct the 5th respondent not to summon and not to interfere with the financial matters..” 2. Heard Sri M.Sapthagiri, the learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 2 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that at the instance of the 6th respondent to settle the financial matter, the Police are calling the petitioner to the Police Station and interfering in a civil issue. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed not to interfere in a civil matter and follow due process of law. No costs.
