The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Balbadda P.S. Case No. 21 of 2024, Special (POCSO) Case No.91 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 366(A), 504 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act, pending in the court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-1st-cum-Special Judge (POCSO), Godda. On 18.06.2024, petitioner and co-accused persons had forcibly restrained the prosecutrix and they pressurized her to marry this petitioner. Thereafter, victim was released. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than ten months. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-1st-cum-Special Judge (POCSO), Godda, in connection with Balbadda P.S.
