D/L 67 31.07.2025 ct.no.35 Kausik W.P.A. 16675 of 2025 Mira Ghosh Versus The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Malay Bhattacharya Mr. Madan Mohan Roy Mr. Hari Pada Nayak Mr. Subhrajyoti Ghosh …for the Petitioner. Mr. Suman Ghosh, AGP Mr. Sanatan Panja …for the State. Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Ashoknagar PS Case No. 122 of 2025 having been registered in the month of February, 2025, no steps are being taken by the police authorities for progressing with the case. To that effect, repeated informations have been furnished to the Superior Officers, but the same did not yield any result. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that prima facie police authorities are satisfied so far as the accusations relating to cheating and forgery are concerned. However, there are certain technical difficulties for which the police authorities are slowly progressing with the case as verification of certain names are creating obstacle in the progress of the investigation. 2 Since the police authorities are well aware regarding the core issue and the stumbling block for progress of the investigation, I direct that the police authorities would continue their efforts and take the investigation to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations WPA 16675 of 2025 is disposed of. Report submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
