Sandhawalia, Chief Justice (Oral) Counsel for the writ petitioner-respondent has fairly conceded that the argument being raised by the State that benefits for regularization is to be granted after 10 years from the date of the joining is justified. It is thus submitted that the date of joining of the petitioner was 14.08.2007, which would be clear from Annexure P-2 and, therefore, the benefits which have been granted by the learned Single Judge w.e.f. 22.12.2014 would not be legally tenable, as per the Government instructions. 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Resultantly, we allow the appeal and modify the judgment to the extent that the benefits of regularization will be given from 14.08.2017, after completion of 10 years of service. 3.
