In the instant contempt petition, the petitioners seek compliance of the order dated 04.03.2024 whereby the respondents were directed to consider and decide the complaint of the petitioners within a period of four weeks. 2. Statement of facts/compliance report stands filed. 3. It is stated that pursuant to the directions passed by this Court, the respondents have acted upon the complaint of the petitioner and initiated action against one Sh. Vijay Kumar S/o Sh Tam Paul Sharma R/o Village Aloora, PO Sohanjana, Tehsil Mandal District Jammu under Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 for raising construction of shops without permission from the competent authority i.e. Jammu Development Authority. 4. It is further stated that notices under Section 7 (1) followed by Section 7 (3) have been served and Sh. Vijay Kumar has filed an 2 CCP (S) 191/2024 appeal against the order dated 03.01.2025 before the J&K Special Tribunal Jammu which is pending disposal. 5. In view of the above, the respondents have complied the order dated 04.03.2024 passed by this Court in its letter & spirit. 6. Accordingly, the proceedings in the contempt petition are closed.
