Sri Ramalingeswara Rao Kocherlakota, learned Counsel for the Respondents submits that the Seniority List was finalized under the threat of Contempt in Contempt Appeal No.166 of 2024 before the Division of this Hon’ble Court. Learned Counsel would submit that there is no willful disobedience or deliberate violation of the Orders passed by this Court dated 26.03.2024 in W.P.No.7510 of 2024 (Ex.P.1) inasmuch as the Seniority List was finalized under the threat of Contempt before the Division Bench of this Hon’ble Court in Contempt Appeal No.166 of 2024. 3. Having regard to the above circumstances, it cannot be stated that the preparation of Seniority List contrary to the Order of this Court dated 26.03.2024 in W.P.No.7510 of 2024 (Ex.P.1) is contemptuous in nature inasmuch as the said Seniority List had to be prepared under the threat of Contempt pending before the Division Bench of this Hon’ble Court in Contempt Appeal No.166 of 2024. In this view of the mater, it cannot be said that the Official Respondents have willfully disobeyed the Orders of this Court. Accordingly, this Contempt Case No.4334 of 2024 is closed. 4. Sri S. Srinivas (Respondent No.1) is present before the Court. Sri K. Kannababu (Respondent No.2) is appearing online. The personal appearance of both the Respondents is dispensed with. 5.
