Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Bano P.S. Case No. 27 of 2024, corresponding to POCSO Case No.16 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 354(A)/354(D)/341/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, Simdega. On 28.05.2024, while the prosecutrix was returning home from a marriage, petitioner is alleged to have intercepted her and dragged her towards bush. However, she was rescued by her brother. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, Simdega, in connection with Bano P.S.
