Learned counsel for the parties would submit that parties have amicably settled the matter; that, the parties shall seek decree of dissolution of marriage by decree of divorce with mutual consent for which permanent alimony of ₹20 lakh in lieu of past, present and future maintenance has been agreed; that, out of ₹20 lakh a cheque of ₹10 lakh has already been given to the petitioner/wife.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed an application for withdrawal of the case.
6. The withdrawal application (IA/2/2025) stands allowed for the reasons stated therein.
7. In view of the above, the present C528 petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
