The Court made the following ORDER: This CrimI-naI Petition, under sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner/A12, seeking regular bail, in crime No.16 of 2023 of G.K.Veedhi Police Station, Visakhapatnam District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offence punI'Shable under Section 20(b)(ii)(C), E 25 r/w 8(c)b of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, On 06.08.2023, on credible information, the Sub-Inspector of Police, G.K.Veedhi, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to Pathaveedhi village, G.K.Veedhi Mandal and while conducting vehicle checking, found Al along with others in possession and illegal transportation of 255 Kgs of Ganja in 2 autos and 2 motor cycles. The contraband along with vehicles and Other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and basing on the confession statements of other accused, the petitioner was arrayed as accused No.12. The petitioner herein/A12 was arrested in the present crime on 24.10.2024. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the name of the petitioner herein was shown as accused in the present crime. As per the confessional statement of co-accused, the . petitioner herein is alleged to have assisted in transporting the Ganja. Except the said confessional statement made by the co- _ _ ,( I .,rf accused, no incrim'lnatin-a material has been seized from the possession of the petit'loner herein. The petitioner Was arrested on 24.10.2024 and since then he iS in judicial remand. 6. ln View Of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the case, th'ls court is inclined to grant ba" to the petitioner here-ln/A12 on the following conditions. i) The petitioner/A12 shall be released On bail On his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) With two Sureties Of the l'lke Sum each tO the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge- Gum-spec'lal Judge for Trial of Offences under NDPS Act, V-lsakhapatnam. ii) on release, the petitioner shall appear before the station House Officer concerned, Once in a Week i.e., On every saturday between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm, till fil®lng Of the charge sheet. 7.
