Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the respondent and perused the material on record. 3. Though several contentions have been urged by the petitioner in the present petition for the purpose of seeking quashing of the aforesaid proceedings, having regard to the undisputed fact that the said proceedings arising out of a private complaint in PCR No.51744/2015 are pending for more than 9 years as on today, coupled with the fact that the trial in the said case has already been commenced, without expressing any opinion on the merits / demerits of the rival contentions, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition directing the trial - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:131 CRL.P No. 10736 of 2023 court to dispose of the aforesaid proceedings in C.C.No.50505/2016 as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law after providing sufficient and reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. 4.
