The present Contempt is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents in implementing the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.16914 of 2013, dated 19.02.2024. 3. The petitioner challenged the proceedings dated 06.06.2013, by which the respondents required the petitioner to discharge the duty of a conductor while performing the role of a driver. This Court after considering the issue on merit set aside the impugned 4. proceedings and allowed the writ petition. The respondents, in their counter, submit that the order has been 5. implemented, the petitioner was paid the annual increment due, and that the respondents have followed the Standard Operating Procedure in vogue. 6. The learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the same and submits that the petitioner was not paid for the period from 06.06.2013 to 19.12.2013, and that increments due from August 2013 were not paid. 7. As seen from the counter in the contempt, the respondents have stated that the annual increments are also paid. 8. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Rule 11 of the Pay and Allowances Regulations, 1964 is not followed. It is for the petitioner to take up the issue with the respondents by making necessary representation seeking the dues, if any, and the respondents would decide it on its own merits. r 3 Insofar as the contempt is concerned, this Court finds that the order with 9. respect to setting aside the impugned proceedings has been implemented. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed, leaving it open to the 10. petitioner to take steps, if any further dues to be claimed from the respondents by making appropriate representation.
