The Communication dated 17.12.2025 received by learned counsel for the respondent from the Under Secretary, CPV Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House Annexe, New Delhi, would justify the said position. The paragraph nos. I, J and K of the said communication, are extracted as under: “(i). Since the receipt of the grievance from/about Mr. Tiwari, Embassy of India, Riyadh has been providing guidance and extending all possible assistance to Mr. Tiwari. The Embassy had facilitated in the annulment of four execution cases against Mr. Tiwari. Embassy officials also visited Dammam (which is over 400km from the Embassy) for attending the hearing of his case. Embassy continues to provide guidance to Mr. Tiwari. The Embassy has also taken up the matter with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia vide note verbale No. IND/118/2023 dated 22/01/2023, Note verbale No. IND/1369/2023 dated 05/10/2023, Note verbale No. IND/369/2024 dated 26/03/2024 & Note verbale No. IND/908/2024 dated 17/07/2024 requesting the competent authorities and the sponsor/employer to provide all necessary assistance and remove travel ban imposed on Mr. Arvind Kumar Tiwari at the earliest to facilitate his travel to India. (k). The Embassy has contacted the M/s Rally Car Rental Est. trying to convince them to withdraw their claim. They have stated that they have spent over SR 15,000/- in fighting the case against Mr. Tiwari, and if Mr. Tiwari pays them such amount to the company, they could consider closing their claim. Mr. Tiwari has been informed of the same.” 2. In view thereof, nothing remains to be adjudicated, and, accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 3. All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 4. If the grievance of the petitioner is not mitigated, he shall be at liberty to file a fresh petition.
