The petitioner has sought for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner at Annexure - C after taking note of the observations made by the orders passed by the Deputy Commissioner dated 11.07.2022 at Annexure - B. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that in light of the inaction of respondent No.1 - Authority to effect Khata, petitioner had approached the Deputy Commissioner, Kolar in MA/CR/06/2021 in which the respondent No.1 was arrayed as a respondent in such proceedings. It is further submitted that subsequent to the disposal of the proceedings by the Deputy Commissioner where direction made to responder No. 1, representation at Annexure - C dated 13.10.2022, has been made seeking for effecting of katha in the name of the Petitioner, taking note of the order of the Deputy Commissioner. It is submitted that despite the - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:16188 WP No. 24201 of 2022 representation being made on 13.10.2022, no order has been passed. 4. Learned Counsel for respondent No. 1 submits that instructions are yet to be completed. Taking note of the limited prayer made, representation at Annexure - C to be disposed of appropriately either by acceding to the request of the petitioner or by issuing a necessary endorsement. 5. Such action should be taken within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. 6. All contentions are kept open.
