THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE BATTU DEVANAND CONTEMPT CASE No.2171 of 2021 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 06.10.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21083 of 2021. 2. A Division Bench of this Court, by its common judgment, dated 12.10.2023, in W.A.No.724 of 2021 & batch, considered the issue of non-clearance of bills pertaining to the petitioners, who had executed works under the ‘Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme’ (MGNREGS), by modifying the order of the learned Single Judge. 3. In the light of the common judgment passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.724 of 2021 & batch, in our considered view, no further adjudication is required in the present Contempt Case. 4. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs. 5. If the petitioner is having any grievance in considering his claim in terms of the directions issued by the Division Bench in its 2 common judgment dated 12.10.2023 in W.A.No.724 of 2021 & batch, the petitioner is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.
