The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "Issue a writ in nature of certiorari and quash the order dated 18.12.2024 passed respondent no.2 in case number 36003/2023 (Report Lekhpal Vs Sabir)." 3. From perusal of the writ petition and annexures annexed thereto, it appears that order dated 18.12.2024 has been passed by the Assistant Collector in proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that the petitioner has alternative remedy of filing appeal under Section 67(5) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 against the order impugned. 5. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 6.
