Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the present contempt petition arises owing to non-implementation of the judgment dated 17.12.2024, passed by the Coordinate Bench. However, Special Leave Petition No. 31447/2025 preferred by the respondents, the Supreme Court, vide Order dated 24.07.2025, while issuing notice, has stayed the operation of the order and judgment dated 25.11.2024, passed in a bunch of petitions including SWP No. 1364/2018, which formed part of the clubbed matters in LPA No. 193/2024. 02. Learned counsel for the petitioner has urged that the proceedings in this petition be closed and the matter may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, post decision of the Supreme Court, if the occasion so arises. 03.
