Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:31627 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 7010 of 2025 1. Samsuddin Mian @ Samsuddin Ansari, aged about 58 years, S/o Late Bipat Mian. 2. Rasidan Khatoon, aged about 55 years, W/o Samsuddin Ansari. Both are residents of village- Kariyawan, P.O.- Hirodih, P.S.- Jainagar, District- Koderma (Jharkhand) … Petitioners - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioners : Mr. Nilesh Kumar, Advocate : Mr. Ramchander Sahu, Advocate For the State : Mr. Satish Prasad, A.P.P. For the Informant : Md. Imran Ansari, Advocate --- 03/14.10.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No. 162 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.357 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1)/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023. Cognizance has been taken under Sections 108/3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Koderma. Petitioners happens to be the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased Taranum Khatoon who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. Attention has been drawn towards the statement of the independent witnesses recorded in the case diary, from which it appears that the deceased had committed suicide because she has suspected that her husband has illicit relationship somewhere else. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that some of the witnesses have stated that the in- laws of the deceased use to assault her and the postmortem report suggest that there was injury on the nose of the deceased. Considering the fact that petitioners are the father-in-law and mother-in- law of the deceased, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Koderma, in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No. 162 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.357 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) October 14, 2025 Jay/-
