Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed works, as entrusted by the respondents vide Agreement No.182/2022-23/EE-IV/DB/GVMC, dated 03.11.2022, and submitted final bills. It is submitted that the competent authority has also recorded the progress of works and certified the works in the M-Book. It is submitted that, an amount of Rs.10,94,690/- is due and payable by the respondents to the petitioner. Though the works progress was recorded in the M-Book, no amounts have been forth coming. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Government Pleader for the Finance & Planning and the learned Standing Counsel. 3. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent No.6 does not dispute the completion of work. 4. Considering the submissions, there shall be a direction to the concerned respondents to verify and release the admitted amount within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed off.
