General Rs.10,000/- Total Rs.53,000/- 2.In the report submitted in support of the application, it is stated that the Trust Estate of T.Venkatasubramaniam has come under the administration of learned Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu (hereinafter “AG & OT” for brevity) under the Letters of Administration in O.P.No.28 of 1993. be used in furtherance of technical education by granting prizes or scholarships to eligible people. It is stated that the learned AG & OT has issued a paper publication inviting applications for award of scholarship to eligible students for the year 2023-
2024. Out of 70 applications received within the date, 61 applications were rejected and only 6 candidates were found eligible. Though the students have applied for scholarship ranging from Rs.8,000/- to Rs.50,000/-, the learned AG & OT has recommended to fix a ceiling of Rs.10,000/-.
Considering the candidates whose requirement is less than Rs.10,000/-, the learned AG & OT has arrived at a sum of Rs.53,000/- to be paid to the students for pursuing technical education. 3.This Court is convinced with the method adopted by the learned AG & OT in selecting the eligible candidates by advertisement.
