Agri / Sozhia Chetty Rs.25,000/- Total Rs.75,000/- 2.In the report submitted in support of the application, it is stated by the learned AG & OT that the Trust Estate of O.S.Ganghadharan Pillai is under the administration of learned AG & OT as per the Letters of Administration granted in T.O.S.No.5 of 1941 (O.P.No.84 of 1941). The Official Trustee states that the Executor of the Will Shri O.S.Ganghadharan Pillai provided in his Will scholarships to poor and intelligent boys and girls who are hereditary Saivities, born in the Saiva Vellala Caste. In order to fulfill the object of the Testator, the Official Trustee had invited applications for award of scholarships for the year 2023-24 in the prescribed format by an advertisement in newspaper on 25.10.2024. Though for the year 2023-24, totally 67 applications had been https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis received by the learned AG & OT, after scrutiny, the learned AG & OT found only 3 eligible candidates having regard to the wishes of the Testator. It is stated that, though the actual fee requirement of the individuals is ranging from Rs.30,350/- to Rs.1,65,000/- per year, in order to bring some uniformity, the learned AG & OT has decided to award a sum Rs.25,000/- to each of the three candidates. 3.However, the learned AG & OT has indicated in his report that a sum of Rs.2,40,000/- is available in the accounts of the Trust as net income for the FYs 2022-23.
