Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to direct the respondent No.2 to pay the gratuity amount to the petitioner of the late mother of the petitioner, alongwith interest on delayed payment from due date. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to direct the respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 12.02.2025 (Annexure no.3 to the writ petition) of the petitioner, within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the mother of petitioner was working as Assistant Teacher in the institution in question and she died while in service. The claim of petitioner for gratuity amount of the mother of petitioner along with interest is pending consideration before respondents. In this respect, petitioner has filed representation dated 12.2.2025 before respondent no.2, however till date, no order has been passed. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that representation of petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby provided that the respondent no.2-Joint Director, Education, Bareilly Division, Bareilly shall decide the representation dated 12.2.2025 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order. 6. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law. 7.
