Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 365 of 2024, registered under Sections 103(1)/61(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj. On 05.10.2024 at about 9:10 P.M., petitioner along with co-accused persons had assaulted the brother of the informant namely Sanjay Kumar due to which he succumbed to his injuries. Mr. Ravi Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the accused persons. It was further submitted that the occurrence has taken place because deceased was having love affair with daughter of this petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S.
