GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following order: The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not paying the admitted bill of Rs.5,56,342/- towards final bill for the work executed by him i.e. ‘special repairs to minor bridge in Km 9/2 of K. Nagalapuram – G Singavaram Road, Kurnool District, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard Sri K. Naga Phanindra, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance for respondent No.1 and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Roads and Buildings for respondents 2 to 4. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that respondent No.3 granted an administrative sanction dated 11.01.2024 for the aforementioned work and the same was entrusted to the petitioner vide agreement No.87/2023-24. The petitioner completed the work in all respects. However, the bill amount of Rs.5,56,342/- was not paid to the petitioner. Hence, the writ petition. 4. At the hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Roads and Building, on instructions submitted that the amount was paid to the petitioner on 13.01.2025. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner endorsed the same. 6. Given the above submissions, since amount was paid to the petitioner no further adjudication is required and hence this writ petition is closed. No costs.
