Learned counsel for State would submit that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 2.12.2024 & 6.1.2025, he has filed an affidavit. In the affidavit, it is specifically pleaded in para-9 that the Chief Medical & Health Officer, Durg has made a request to Accountant General for release of retiral dues of the petitioner on 6.1.2025. Copy of letter is also enclosed as Annexure-R/4. 2. Learned counsel for respondent No.4 submits that in view of the documents enclosed along with affidavit filed i.e. letter dated 6.1.2025(Annexure-R/4), necessary steps will be taken by the department expeditiously. He submits that attempts will be made to settle the dues within a period of four weeks. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the submission made by counsel for respondents No.1 to 4 and also considering the age of petitioner to be about 84 years, direction be issued to respondent No.4 to settle dues at the earliest. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. Considering the submission of learned counsel for the parties, writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to take necessary steps to settle the outstanding dues, in view of the letter dated 6.1.2025 (Annexure-R/4), at the earliest, preferably within a period of four weeks from today.
