(ORAL) The present peon has been filed by the peoners under Secon 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure for direcng respondents No.1 and 2 to take acon against the concerned police offical respondent No.3 for not taking acon against the accused person i.e respondents No.4 to 7 in FIR bearing No.219 dated 26.11.2020, under Secons 420/120-B IPC, registered at Police Staon Sector-36, District Chandigarh. 2. Counsel for the UT, Chandigarh submits that out of 30 witnesses, 22 have already been examined in the present FIR and the peon is for direcon to take acon against respondents No.4 to 7 in the FIR menoned in para 1 for not taking acon against accused person. Since, the trial has been commenced against the accused person, as such, no acon is required, now the peon has been rendered infructuous. 3. Counsel for the peoners submits that Ranadeep Ghoshal-respondent No.4 has not been arrested yet. However, Counsel for UT, Chandigarh submits that he is in custody in some other case and in the present case, they will brought him on producon warrants in due course. 4. Given above, the present peon is disposed of as having become infructuous.
