P Sahu, learned senior advocate assisted by Mr. Abishek Sahu, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the petitioners through video conferencing platform and Ms. L. Monomala, learned Government Advocate appeared on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 & 2. [2] Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the present writ petition can be disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach the respondents by submitting a representation for redressing their grievances raised in this writ petition and by directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the said representation, as and when such a representation is filed by the petitioners, by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period. [3] Mrs. Manomala, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that she has no objection in disposing of this writ petition as prayed for by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners. WP (C) No. 156 of 2025 3 [4] Considering the submission advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioners, this Court is of the considered view that it will meet the ends of justice by issuing the following directions. a. The petitioners are at liberty to approach the respondents by filing a representation for redressing their grievances raised in the present writ petition. The said representation should be filed within a period of 2(two) weeks from today; b. In the event of filing such a representation by the petitioners, the respondents are directed to consider the said representation on its own merit strictly in terms of applicable law and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order. c. The whole process of consideration and disposal of the said representation should be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such a representation. [5] With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of. JUDGE Ab. Surjit
