Petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024, arising out of Katkamdag P.S. Case No.34 of 2024, registered under Sections 20(B) (ii)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of Sri Purushottam Kumar Goswami, learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Hazaribag. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No.4943 of 2024 by order dated 24.07.2024. On 29.02.2024, Katkamdag police apprehended the petitioner along with co-accused persons from their house and on search, 208.20 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from there. It appears that quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of commercial quantity. Considering the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
