GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV The Court made the following order: 2 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION NO.884 of 2025 ORDER: Briefly, the grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that while restoring the old age pension to the petitioners, the respondents have not paid arrears from October, 2019 to August, 2024 without assigning any valid reasons. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 2. On examining the proceedings, dated 08.08.2024, the 5th respondent/Mandal Parishad Development Officer has not stated any reason for the relief claimed by the petitioners herein towards arrears of the old age pension. 3. As the respondents have already restored the old age pension to the petitioners, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition directing the petitioners herein to file fresh representation to the respondents 2 and 3 addressing their grievance for sanction of arrears of old age pension from October, 2019 to August, 2024, within a period of two weeks from today and on filing such representation by the petitioners herein, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to appraise the issue and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and communicate the said decision to the petitioners herein, within a period of two weeks therefrom. 3 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
