Case No. 11 of 2025, for the offences registered under Section 103 of the B.N.S., 2023 and chargesheet has been submitted under Section 103(1) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Sahibganj. On 16.03.2025 at about 8:30 A.M., co-accused Pargana Marandi is alleged to have inflicted several knife blow on the husband of the informant due to which, he succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that there is no allegation against the petitioner of having assaulted the deceased. Mr. Pratiush Lala, learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that at paragraph Nos.67 and 68 of the case diary, independent witnesses have stated that the petitioner and co- accused Makku Marandi @ Jassi Marandi had held the hands of the deceased. It appears that Makku Marandi @ Jassi Marandi has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Sahibganj, in connection with Mirzachowki P.S.
