Case No. 144 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. On 29.05.2025, Kanke Police apprehended this petitioner from a place near Law University. On search, a country-made pistol alongwith two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than four months. It was further submitted that the chargesheet has been submitted in this case. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, in connection with Kanke P.S.
