Nanda, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned Special P.P. appearing for the State. This appeal is directed against the order dated 09.09.2025 passed in B. P. No. 534 of 2025 arising out of Raidih P. S. Case No. 51 of 2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Gumla whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been submitted by Mr. K. S. Nanda, learned counsel for the appellant that one of the co-accused who is similarly situated has been granted bail by this court in Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 1109 of 2025. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 05.07.2025. Learned Special P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has submitted that the appellant has got 5 criminal antecedents of similar nature. The allegation reveals that an Ertiga car was intercepted by the police and the appellant as well as some other persons were apprehended. On a search of the vehicle fake currency notes amounting to Rs. 1,30,000/- was recovered. One of the co-accused namely, Gosowami Chauhan has been granted bail by this court as noted above. -2 Regard being had to the aforesaid and considering the period of custody undergone by the, we while setting aside the order dated 09.09.2025 passed in B. P. No. 534 of 2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, direct that the appellant above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Gumla in connection with Raidih P.
