The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Maranghada P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025, corresponding to NDPS Case No.34 of 2025, for the offence registered under Section 18(b) of NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Khunti. On 08.02.2025, Maranghada Police on the basis of confidential information destructed poppy cultivation from Hundrudih village. It was submitted that petitioner was apprehended while he was standing in the poppy field. It was further submitted that petitioner was hired as a laborer by the co-accused persons. It was also submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Khunti, in connection with Maranghada P.S.
