THE ADVOCATE GENERAL The Court made the following order: (per Hon’ble Sri Justice R Raghunandan Rao) This Writ Petition was filed for the production of the detenues on the ground that they had been illegally detained by the official respondents. 2. The 5th respondent has filed a counter affidavit stating that the detenues and some other persons had been arrested and produced before the Learned I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Adhoni, on 09.11.2024. The police custody of the detenues was also granted by the 2 RRR, J & MRK, J W.P.No.25637 of 2024 Magistrate from 16.11.2024 to 20.11.2024, during which the detenues had confessed to various crimes and there was recovery of 356.7 grams of gold ornaments and cash of Rs.5,00,000/-. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, in the circumstances, submits that the Writ Petition can be closed, leaving it open to the petitioner and the detenues to avail of their remedies according to law. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty. There shall be no order as to costs.
