This writ petition has been filed by petitioner who was elected as President of District Bar Association, Bageshwar for the period 2024-2026. He was removed by respondent no.2 by Resolution dated 26.12.2024 from the said post for the reason that he was engaged as a Chief Defence Counsel with the District Legal Services Authority, Bageshwar. Feeling aggrieved, petitioner has challenged the Resolution dated 26.12.2024 passed by respondent no.2. 5. It is contended by learned Counsel for the petitioner that the period of elected body of District Bar Association, Bageshwar has already come to an end in March, 2026 and new election has also taken place. 6. In such view of the matter, the writ petition has rendered infructuous. It is dismissed as such.
