In this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for following reliefs:- “1. That by this writ application the petitioners pray for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders by this Hon'ble court to direct the concerned respondents to appoint the petitioners on class IV vacant posts in Palamau Collectoriate/different Govt. offices in the district of Palamau which has not been done properly despite the order dated 02.05.2017 passed by this Hon'ble court in W.P.(S) No.2485/2016 (Sarita Kumari & others versus The State of Jharkhand & others), W.P(S), No. 2021/2016 (Kundal Pd. Gupta & others versus The State of Jharkhand & others), & W.P.(S). No. 7471/2016 (Radhamohan Singh & others versus The State of Jharkhand & others). ii. To direct the concerned respondents to fill up the vacant class-IV posts in the Palamau collectoriate/different Govt. office in the Palamau district without any further delay and to grant the age relaxation of those petitioners whose maximum has crossed or going to be crossed as per advertisement no. 01/2010 dt. 29.07.2010 published in Prabhat khabar daily Newspaper. iii) Pass such other order/orders which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper in the facts & circumstances of the case for the ends of justice. iv) For quashing of the order vide memo no. 04 dated 17-07-2018 passed by the Deputy Commissioner Palamau, respondent no. 4 as contained in Annexure-9 to the writ petition. “ 3. During course of argument, it has been fairly brought to the notice of this Court that the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No(s). 13950-13951 of 2024 arising out of SLP (Civil) No(s).6120-6121 of 2023, Amrit Yadav Versus the State of Jharkhand & Ors. and Analogues Cases has set aside the entire selection process arising out of the Advertisement No.1/2010 dated 29.07.2010 of Palamau at Daltonganj and the subsequent appointments made. 4. Considering the fact that the advertisement, entire selection process and the appointment have been set aside by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, no relief can be granted to the petitioners in this writ petition thus, the same is dismissed. 5. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the fresh advertisement or any clause of the said advertisement, it will be open to the petitioners to file a fresh writ petition as the same will give rise to a fresh cause of action. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands dismissed. 7. Pending IAs, if any, is also dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) 14th October, 2025 R.S./Sandeep
