(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) seeking anticipatory bail in cross version vide DDR No.26 dated 31.01.2025 under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 333, 190 and 191(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNS’) (Sections 118(2) and 117(2) of BNS added later on) in case arising out of FIR No.03 dated 15.01.2025 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 333, 190 and 191(3) of BNS at Police Station Tibber, District Gurdaspur 2. Vide order dated 17.03.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioners were ordered to be released on interim bail and were directed to join investigation. 3. Learned State counsel, on instructions submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation on 22.03.2025. Their further custodial interrogation is not required. 4. Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 17.03.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to compliance of usual terms and conditions requisite for grant of anticipatory bail.
