Petitioners have questioned recruitment notification dated 30th May, 2025 issued by the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission vide memo No. 1092/7016/CSSC/ESST/2025. 2. Legality and validity of the said memo dated 30th May, 2025 was decided by this Court on a batch of writ petitions first one being WPA 12505 of 2025 (Sanjoy Kumar Doloi & Anr. v. The State of West Bengal & Ors. ) vide judgment dated 7th July, 2025. The judgment delivered by this Court on 7th July, 2025 was not interfered with by the Hon’ble Division Bench vide judgment dated 16th July, 2025 passed on an intra Court appeal being MAT 1017 of 2025 (Arunima Paul & Ors. v. State of West Bengal & Ors.). 3. The issue travelled up to the Hon’ble Supreme Court and SLP was dismissed vide order dated 21st July, 2025 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (c) No.19222/2025. 1. Subsequently an order was passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court on Special Leave petition (Civil) Diary No.46049/2025 (Bibek Paria & Ors. –vs- State of West Bengal) dated 21.08.2025 wherein all selected and appointed untainted candidates, who were permitted to continue in service till 31.12.2025 were permitted to participate in the fresh selection process without insisting upon their complying with the newly introduced eligibility criteria of securing 50% minimum marks in graduation and post graduation level. This is a case of relaxation of age bar which is not covered by the order dated 21st August, 2025. 2. Hence, writ petition is dismissed. 3. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 4.
