Chatterjee, Spl.P.P. -------- 03/ Dated 09.10.2025 Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case and as such, these bail applications are being disposed of by this common order. Heard the parties. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 40 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 308(3), 308(4) & 132/3(5) of B.N.S., 2023 and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Latehar. On 24.04.2025, during the course of patrolling, the informant party came to know that rangdari was demanded from the contractors and officers of N.T.P.C., Tandwa by the T.S.P.C., a banned extremist organization. It was submitted that the mobile phones which were used in demanding rangdari from the officers of N.T.P.C. does not belong to these petitioners. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioners have criminal antecedents. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioners on record, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Latehar, in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 40 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) 09th October, 2025 BS/-
