The petitioner is claiming the ownership over property admeasuring 2114.66 sq.yards, bearing Door No.11-11-8. The said property is the subject of civil suits in O.S.Nos.3 of 1990 and 180 of 1990. The property is claimed by the petitioner and her sister based on the will executed by father of the petitioner’s father. Subsequently, the property is the subject of appeals A.S.Nos.318, 1092 of 2000, 512 of 2006 and 452 of 2008. It is submitted all the appeals are pending consideration. However, pending these appeals, the sister of the petitioner is said to have alienated some portion of the property in favor of third parties. The petitioner apprehends that the 2nd respondent would consider the applications of the purchaser of the property to record their names in the municipal records. It is submitted that the execution of the said sale deeds is without any title, and the dispute is pending adjudication before this Court. 2. On these considerations, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 15.02.2024, followed by legal notices dated 22.08.2024 and subsequently legal notice dated 22.02.2025. It is submitted that any mutation affected in the municipal records would lead to multiplicity of litigation. 3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent, on written instructions, submits that the documents submitted by one of the applicants were not entered, and that the respondent authorities would 4 HN, J W.P.No.27090_2025 await adjudication of the title dispute before considering any application for effecting mutation in the revenue records. 4. Recording the same, the present writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
