JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER Date : 26.05.2026 The instant application has been filed by the appli- cant/appellant praying for staying of the operation of the im- pugned judgment and order dated 06.01.2025 passed by the learned MACT, Dimapur in MAC Case No.17 of 2015. Page No.# 2/2 Heard the learned counsel for the applicant Mr. Medo Vero. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has preferred the appeal against the impugned judgment and order dated 06.01.2025 which has already been admitted for hearing. It is submitted that the applicant has taken good grounds for appeal and the appeal is likely to succeed and there- fore if the judgment and order is not suspended during the pen- dency of the appeal, irreparable loss will be caused to the appli- cant. This Court has considered the application and is of the view that the impugned judgment and order dated 06.01.2025 needs to be suspended during the pendency of the connected appeal. Accordingly, the impugned judgment and order dated 06.01.2025 passed in MAC 17 of 2025 shall remain suspended during the pendency of MACApp.10/2025 subject to deposit of 50% of the awarded amount by the appellant before the Reg- istry of this Court within 6(six)weeks from today.
