(Oral) The challenge in this writ petition is made to the transfer order dated 15.02.2025 and relieving order dated 20.02.2025. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. The petitioner is working in Police Department. By the impugned order, he has been transferred from District Nainital to District Chamoli. In fact, the petitioner is involved in NDPS cases. Therefore, he has been transferred. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that from District Chamoli it would be very difficult for the petitioner to attend the court’s proceedings and defend himself; it may effect his right to 2 fair trial. It is also argued that the petitioner has served 14 years in the hill area. 5. The petitioner is working in police department. Discipline in every service is paramount, but in police, it is expected a little more. There is nothing to show that the transfer is mala fide or there is some statutory Rules that have been violated. Therefore, this Court does not see any reason to interfere in the instant petition. Accordingly, the petition deserves to be dismissed at the stage of admission itself. 6. The petition is dismissed in limine. (Ravindra Maithani, J.) 05.03.2025 Sanjay
