[2025:RJ-JP:7089] (2 of 2) [CW-23084/2018]
2. By way of filing this writ petition, a direction has been sought against the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Safai Karamchari with effect from the date his juniors have been appointed with all consequential benefits including pay and allowances.
3. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents apprised this Court that the entire selection process for appointment on the post of Safai Karamchari was conducted by the respondents through lottery and there is no person junior or senior to the petitioner to whom appointment was given. The appointment was given as per the draw of results from the lottery. Hence, under these circumstances, the petitioner is not entitled to get any relief.
4. Considering the above factual aspect of the matter, this Court finds no merit and substance in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
5. Stay application as well as all applications (pending, if any) also stand disposed of.
